CHOCOLATE BROWNIE




 

INGREDIENTS

  • Eggs
  • 350 gm Sugar (1 cup + ¾ cup)
  • 200 gm Maida/All Purpose Flour (1.1/2 cup + 1 tsp)
  • 30 gm Cocoa Powder (¼ cup)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 125 gm Dark Chocolate
  • 250 gm Butter

  1. INSTRUCTIONS

  • Break the chocolate into small pieces. Put the pieces in a bowl and place the bowl in boiling water in a pan and melt it. When it is completely melted, let it cool.
  • Add the molten Chocolate to Butter and mix well.
  • Add Sugar and Vanilla Essence to the Eggs and beat until frothy.
  • When the Eggs are beaten to a white froth, add the Chocolate mix and slowly mix it well.
  • Sieve Maida and Cocoa Powder together. Use a spatula on the sieved powder is cut & fold method until they are thoroughly mixed.
  • Spread Butter Paper in the mould and pour the chocolate mix into it. Pat gently so that there are no bubbles in the mixture.
  • Put the cake mould in the preheated mould and bake at 170 degrees for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the baked Brownies cool entirely in the mould itself. Once cool, take it out, snip off the edges and cut it into pieces.
  • Brownies taste even more delicious if eaten with Ice Cream.
